The Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse, often simply known as the Bunker, is a historic sports venue located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin.
Established in 1931, this iconic facility has played a pivotal role in the athletic history of the university. Originally named the University Fieldhouse, it was renamed in 1991 to honor Dr. Robert Bentson and his wife, Margaret Bunker, who were major benefactors.
Today, the Bunker remains a cornerstone of Texas Longhorns sports. It is best known for hosting men's and women's basketball games, but it also serves as a venue for gymnastics and other events.
