Founded in 1958 in Manchester, England, the Bee Gees initially comprised brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. Their early years were marked by the release of several singles, with 'Spicks and Specks' becoming their first major hit in 1966. The trio later moved to Australia, where they found success with 'New Morning,' leading to a record deal in the U.S. in 1967. The Bee Gees' career took a significant turn in the 1970s with the disco era, producing hits like 'Jive Talkin'' and 'Stayin' Alive' from the album 'Saturday Night Fever.' This period also saw the introduction of younger brother Andy, who joined the group in 1967. Tragically, the Bee Gees lost Andy in 1988, but their legacy continued with the remaining brothers. Over the years, the Bee Gees have received numerous awards and accolades, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. Their impact on music is undeniable, with their unique blend of pop, rock, and disco influencing countless artists.
